This ’80s bully montage (girl, we want a montage) serves as Exhibit V that no other decade was more cartoonish or disingenuous to reality than the Ronald Reagan era. I’m not trying to be political with that statement. I just needed a synonym for ’80s so I didn’t use it twice in the same sentence.

Both videos were done by Huff Po’s Ben Craw, and the first, his “’80s Bully Megacut,” is the one that most people seem to enjoy the most. The second one, “The Faces of the ’80s Bully,” is clearly way better though.

Craw explains the bully stare:

It could be an over-the-shoulder look-back face, or a face from behind that the victim had to look back over the shoulder to receive. It could be a face wafted out over a classroom of karate students, or a face shot line-drive style from under a basketball hoop. It could be a face piercing through a packed house party, or a face left hanging in an empty high school hallway. It could even be a face… while reclining against a parked car.

No matter its form, the ’80s bully face always found its target, and more often than not left its recipients crippled, shattered shells of human beings.

Just like your dad.
