Hmmm… Thanks for reading the retrospectives, but I think calling Dr. No the best would be the most contrarian. Regardless, I have nothing against From Russia. It’s solid. I just think that Young does a fine job of weaving in a bit of noir-spy thriller into Thunderball. Not sure if I would say it’s the worst, but I see your point as to why it might not be the best. Now, on to Roger Moore!

It’s easily the worst of the four – bloated, plodding and two female leads that I have trouble telling apart. And the big underwater set pieces were just a bore. And what’s with the cranked-up fight on the boat at the end? Gun to my head, I’d pick From Russia as the best of four. Enjoying the retrospectives. Thanks!
