Orgy was a no-budget indie filmed in Wilmington, NC, with a local crew, Hangover, a Warner Brothers film shot in Vegas, so I doubt there was much staff crossover. As for the wolf stuff, sometimes those things are just in the ether.

I suppose the lapse in time between the Hangover’s release and Orgy’s is due to the aforementioned squeemishness surrounding the subject matter. It might be interesting to watch the Hangover again and see if Allan is ripping off Mark. The similarities in the screen play that I still can’t get over are the “lone wolf” and the “wolf pack” lines. The coincidence here is strange. I wonder if there were any connections between the production staff for this film and that of the Hangover.

I’ve noticed a lot of reviews comparing Labine to Galafianakis, as if he had been emulating him, but before the Hangover, no one knew who the hell Zach Galafianakis was, and Tyler was the funny dude from Reaper. And a super nice guy. So he deserves more props than he’s getting.
